The futures price of gold and silver has seen a decline on Thursday. On Thursday, 11 December 38 minutes on the MCX exchange, gold futures of December 5, 2019 were trending down by 0.10 percent or 40 rupees. Due to this decline, the futures price of gold was kept at Rs 38,115 per ten grams on December 5, 2019.
The futures price of silver has also seen a fall on Thursday. On December 5, 2019, the futures price of silver on MCX exchange was seen dropping by 0.27 per cent or Rs 123 on Thursday morning at 11:41 am. Due to this decline, the futures price of silver remained at Rs 44,696 per kg on December 5, 2019.
At the same time, the futures price of gold of 5 February 2020 has also seen a fall on Thursday. On Thursday, 11 February 43 minutes on the MCX exchange, gold futures on February 5, 2020 was down by 0.08 per cent or Rs 29 to trade at Rs 38,193 per 10 grams.
Significantly, according to HDFC Securities on Wednesday, gold had recorded an increase of Rs 296. Due to this, the price of gold had closed at Rs 39,194 per 10 grams on Wednesday. At the same time, silver also saw an increase of Rs 331 on Wednesday. The silver had closed at Rs 46,103 per kg on Wednesday.
On the global level, according to Bloomberg, on Thursday, the spot price of gold was down by 0.09 percent to trade at $ 1470.32 an ounce. At the same time, the spot price of silver was down by 0.39 percent to trade at $ 17.08 an ounce.
On the other hand, when it comes to crude oil, today its futures price is falling on Thursday. On Thursday, December 18, 2019, crude oil futures prices were trending down 0.29 per cent or Rs 12 on MCX Exchange at 1150hrs on Thursday. Due to this decline, the futures price of crude oil on 18 December 2019 remained at Rs 4086 per barrel.
